Q Mr. Mishkoff, this is, you know, a fairly -- in my opinion since I've never made a website -- a pretty nice, elaborate website. What was your sense of what you were -- what was the purpose of this website?

A To publicize -- well, two purposes. To publicize the mall and to have some fun. I like creating websites.

Q To publicize the mall -- be more specific with what you mean by that. To let people know it was coming or to --

A To let people know it was coming, to let people know that it existed, and I had plans to make the site more sophisticated, and I never got a chance to do it. I wanted to do an interactive map. We would have a map of the mall and you could click on the individual stores and go to information about the store and vice-versa and click on the links and go to the map. It's just things -- I had plans I never got around to doing for lack of time. I just thought it would be a lot of fun to do.

Q Did it occur to you that it may impact, either positively or negatively, the business of the mall?

A I assume that it would impact it positively.

Q Did you want it to?

A Yes, absolutely.

Q And why is that?

A Because I wanted the mall to be successful. It's in my neighborhood. I mean, if for no other reason, every successful business in my area helps to increase my property values. And that was somewhere in my mind, but it's not my primary reason. I would just like to have more amenities in my neighborhood.

Q Did you take any time to figure out in what way -- what would be the best way to positively effect the business of the mall? Did you have any training in that, or was this completely your own sense?

A It was -- I don't -- I'm not sure I understand the question. It was my own idea. I don't have any formal training in methods to bring businesses to shopping malls.

Q Do you have any marketing --

A No, I don't.

Q -- background?

A No, I don't.

Q Have you ever -- in your capacity working with various companies or as an employee, have you ever worked in a marketing department?

A No, I have not. Wait a minute now. When I was at Texas Instruments, for a while I was in a marketing department. I had no marketing responsibilities. I did programming and writing. But it was a marketing department.
