Subject: Thank you, from another sucks.com owner
As owner of the
adelphiasucks.com
domain (and lame website with it) I've
always been concerned about legal matters such as yours.
From your experiences, I've gained appreciation of what I might endure
should the lawyers of Adelphia get tired of fending off bankruptcy court
clerks and other lawyers and decide that I violate their trademarks.
From my beginning of owning adelphiasucks.com, I've always upheld it as
a free speech site, and will continue to do the same. I'll also be sure
not to sell anything from the site, nor will I link to any place that
sells anything - just to keep the 'commercial' aspect of the site a
non-issue.
Of course, you realize that, in addition to Bally, people will be
referencing 'Taubman vs. Mishkoff' in further defenses of our right to
free speech.
Again, thanks for your efforts and dealing with such things. It's truly
ground-breaking and essential to the rights of Free Speech on the
Internet.
